Delete your account

You can remove your InstantSam account and all of your data at any time. Here is how, and exactly what gets deleted.

Delete it from the app

On iPhone or Android, and it takes effect immediately.

  1. 1. Open InstantSam on your phone and sign in.
  2. 2. Go to More, then Profile.
  3. 3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
  4. 4. Confirm. Your account is deleted and you are signed out.

Ask us to delete it

If you cannot access the app, email us from the address on your account and we will delete it for you. We will confirm once it is done.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • Your account and sign in details
  • Your profile, including your name and company
  • Your saved opportunities
  • Your saved searches and alerts
  • Your device push notification tokens
  • Your subscription record and usage history

If you bought your subscription on this website, it is cancelled as part of the deletion so you are not billed again. If you bought it through the App Store, we cannot cancel it for you: cancel it on your iPhone in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, before you delete, or Apple will keep billing you.

If you own a team with other people on it, remove them from the team first. Work saved to a team stays with the team.

We keep billing and tax records where the law requires us to, as described in our Privacy Policy. Federal opportunity data itself is public information from SAM.gov and is not personal to your account, so it is unaffected.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
